Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a 20-hour-per-week day shift. The role requires rotating schedules with call responsibilities and offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for a limited time.

You will support intra-operative care, prep and pass instruments, and uphold asepsis standards. The ideal candidate has a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology credential, and current certification or eligibility with a plan to obtain certification within one month

Formación

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification preferred; new hires must obtain certification within one month of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up for procedures with proper instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Passes instruments to the surgeon at the sterile field.
• anticipates needs of the surgical team and supplies instruments accordingly.
• Maintains sterile field and abide by asepsis principles.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and on-call assignments.
