Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join the intraoperative care team at our Torresdale location. The role focuses on creating and maintaining a sterile field, anticipating surgeon needs, and supporting the perioperative process across preop, intraop, and postop stages.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a surgical technician program, with basic life support and CST certification, and a collaborative approach to patient safety and high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technician training program.
• Knowledge of sterile field setup and maintenance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist with gowning and gloving of the surgical team and surgeon.
• Count sharps, sponges, and instruments with circulating nurse.
• Support intraoperative team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
