Five Below is hiring a Part-Time Support Lead in Carbondale, IL. The role focuses on ensuring a WOW customer experience, supervising store associates, and supporting daily store operations and merchandising. You will act as Manager on Duty as needed and help with onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and exceptional service at checkout.
• Train crew on the Five Below customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and monitor performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room organization.
