Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking a store leader in Pekin, IL to oversee daily operations and train associates. You will manage duties, assist with stock, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

You will act as Manager on Duty when needed, support onboarding, drive sales, and partner with leadership on merchandising while maintaining store standards and customer focus.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for rapid stocking.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking store operations, staff management and customer service responsibilities.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses via merchandising, performance, and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising processes and recovery.
