Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking motivated substitute teachers who demonstrate a mature Christian faith and active church involvement to support biblical teaching and classroom care. You will complete substitute teacher training, deliver LifeWise lessons, maintain a safe and organized classroom, take attendance, and communicate with the lead teacher and volunteers.

This is a part-time, hourly role rooted in service within the LifeWise program.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith consistent with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise Academy beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance and provide records.
• Maintain a clean and orderly classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.
• Represent LifeWise Academy within the community.
