LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who demonstrates a mature Christian faith and active church involvement. The role requires delivering LifeWise lessons, following curriculum and safety policies, and maintaining orderly classrooms.

You will train as a substitute, take attendance, communicate with volunteers and the classroom teacher, and represent LifeWise Academy in the community as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise values.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes as needed.
• Implement LifeWise curriculum per lesson plan.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance and maintain class records.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
