LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers to support classroom instruction on an as-needed basis. This part-time, hourly role requires a mature Christian faith and active church involvement in alignment with LifeWise beliefs.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching students. Training will be provided, with duties including attendance, record-keeping, and classroom management in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes as needed.
• Implement LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom.
• Follow LifeWise discipline policy.
• Take attendance and provide records.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergencies.
• Act as a LifeWise ambassador in the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.
