Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Support Lead PT at our Aspen Hill location in Silver Spring, MD. The role focuses on guiding crew to wow customers and delivering fast, friendly checkouts while managing daily store operations and stock flow.

You will assist with onboarding, training, merchandising collaboration, and opening/closing duties. A minimum of 1 year in management and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer with personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience and store policies.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures high-quality service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations and staff.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash handling, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, performance, and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and store standards.
• Performs general store maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a WOW store environment.
