Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking a Support Lead (Part Time) in Gambrills, MD to supervise store operations and guest service. You will assist with opening/closing, cash handling, and daily staff management while driving sales and controlling expenses.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible schedule and weekend availability are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversees the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management and customer service.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash handling, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily prep.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
