Five Below is seeking a hands-on Retail Leader to help run daily store operations and guide a team of crew members. You will oversee opening/closing, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales through effective merchandising and staffing.

Prior management experience is valued, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. The role is hourly, offers a path to develop in a fast-paced retail environment, and requires flexible scheduling including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members deliver WOW customer service through personal interaction.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure staff perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floor ready for customers.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, including cash handling and security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates and policies.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance and customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and cleanliness duties as needed.
