Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to help lead daily operations at our campus store and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with store leadership to coach team members, manage opening/closing tasks, and ensure priorities are executed in a welcoming retail environment.

The role requires 2+ years of retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a varied schedule year-round, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales floor with a customer-first mindset.
• Assist opening/closing and act as Manager-on-Duty when needed.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, coach team members.
• Maintain knowledge of all store departments to satisfy customer needs.
• Handle customer questions professionally and escalate when needed.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and POS transactions.
