Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a resourceful, driven part-time Supervisor to support store operations and provide outstanding customer service on a weekly basis year round. The role involves coaching team members, maintaining store standards, and stepping in as Manager-on-Duty when needed.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with benefits including daily pay options and employee discounts. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and model exceptional customer service on the selling floor.
• Train and oversee daily activities of team members in one or more departments.
• Assist in store operations and act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the manager.
• Assist with processing sales transactions as needed.
