Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and organize merchandise from delivery to floor with a focus on maintaining seasonal areas and displays.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, retail management experience preferred, and strong communication skills to lead and develop store associates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling activities.
• Maintain clean, organized store and safety standards.
• Help train and develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
