Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to sales floor.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to a high-energy team environment, with duties including opening/closing, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
