Job summary

Five Below Inc. in Fall River, MA is seeking a driven assistant store manager to oversee daily operations, train crew, and deliver the WOW customer experience. You will open and close the store, manage cash, merchandise, and staff, and partner with leadership to control expenses and boost sales.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year of management experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience and ensures fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, with responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, cash security, alarms, and daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
