Job summary

Five Below is a fast-growing lifestyle retailer with values centered on a fun, energetic culture. This role focuses on leading crew, delivering WOW customer experiences, and ensuring smooth daily operations across merchandising, training, and service standards.

You will train staff, manage opening/closing, and drive sales while maintaining store presentation and policy compliance. Starting hourly wage is $17.44 with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Train the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure effective performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses via merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
