Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable store leader to drive exceptional customer experiences and oversee daily store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will train associates, manage cash handling, and coordinate opening/closing duties to ensure smooth daily runs.

The role requires at least a High School diploma, 1+ years of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask while staying composed under pressure. Flexible scheduling is expected to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves organized and accessible.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open/close procedures including cash handling, alarm checks, and securing the premises.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and manage expenses by optimizing merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery activities.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning and stocking areas.
