Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time store operations associate at our Fenton, Michigan location. The role supports the store in the absence of leadership, ensuring efficiency and economical operations while aiding customers and managing daily tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising adherence to policies, operating the cashier, maintaining safety, and keeping the store neat and fully stocked. Prior retail exposure and a basic comfort with math are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (preferred).
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail Oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associates' adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Run cashier/register and handle customer concerns efficiently.
• Know store layout and safety equipment locations; conduct regular area inspections.
• Assist with time clock maintenance in absence of store leadership.
• May close store and secure premises after shifts.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and assist customers with product locations.
