Job summary

SpartanNash, a Family Fare and related stores retailer in Marshall, Michigan, is seeking a part-time store operations associate. You will supervise in the Store Director's absence, operate cash registers, assist customers, and maintain safety and cleanliness across the store.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products is needed.
• Detail Oriented and thorough in tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associates' adherence to company policies.
• Run cashier register and courtesy counter desk; handle customer concerns efficiently.
• Know store layout and locations of safety and emergency equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• In absence of Store Director/manager, manage time clocks and shift coverage.
• May close store: secure doors, turn off lights, and arm the store.
• Assist customers by knowing product locations and availability.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked store.
