Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily operations at our Carbondale store. The role involves supervising crew, delivering the BEST customer service, and ensuring fast, friendly checkout experiences.

You will oversee receiving and stocking, open/close duties, and onboarding new associates while partnering with the leadership team to boost sales and maintain compliance with policies. This hourly position starts at $15.50.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and think creatively.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and wow customers; train crew on BEST customer service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking shelves.
• Act as Manager on Duty; manage store operations and staff.
• Open/close duties; secure cash, doors, and alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses; optimize merchandising and performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and world recovery.
• Maintain stock room and store cleanliness.
