Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced store leader to drive the customer experience on the sales floor and in checkout. You will train crew, oversee daily activities, and ensure fast, friendly service to every guest.

Responsibilities include stock handling, opening/closing duties, and collaborating with leadership on merchandising and recovery efforts to boost sales and service quality. The role requires 1+ year of management and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the best customer service experience and fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prep for the day.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store recovery, maintain stockroom.
