Allied Universal is hiring a SOC Operator to work at a tech company located in Santa Clara, CA. Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Operate radio or console monitors.
• Communicate effectively with the public.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Investigate alarms and respond by dispatching security patrols or notifying authorities as needed.
• Assist employees with safety and security concerns.
• Monitor travel safety and security for the company’s employees.
• Review multiple systems to detect potential risks.
• Distribute advisories and coordinate corporate responses.
• Compile daily and incident reports.
• Follow procedures for incidents from local to global scope.
• Provide back-up, support, and on-call coverage.
