Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center Operator. The SOC is a 24/7 centralized hub managing security and life safety systems, delivering strong customer service while enforcing procedures.

A valid driver’s license, 40 WPM typing, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. The role monitors facilities, responds to events, documents incidents, and coordinates with departments to ensure proper action and escalation as needed, while maintaining clear communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to type 40+ WPM.
• Experience in public sector dispatch or emergency operations center (PSAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security, communications, and fire/life safety systems.
• Answer and respond to events via phones, radios, and intercoms.
• Document routine and unusual events accurately.
• Make emergency notifications as required by procedures.
• Coordinate with departments and act as liaison with security staff.
