Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to monitor security systems 24/7. The role serves as a liaison between security departments and is responsible for documenting events and maintaining control of equipment in the Control Room.

Essential duties include monitoring alarms, coordinating with Shift Supervisors, and generating task work orders for maintenance while ensuring accurate reporting and quick responses to incidents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Two years of public sector dispatch or emergency operations center experience.
• Two years of verifiable data center security experience.
• Three years of verifiable private/corporate security experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security, communications and fire/life safety systems in the designated region.
• Proactively monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV viewer programs; respond to alarms.
• Answer events via phones/intercoms; provide guidance during emergencies.
• Serve as liaison between departments and security.
• Document routine and unusual events accurately and promptly.
