Job summary

Allied Universal in San Jose, CA is seeking a Part Time Dispatch Incident Coordinator with the Security Officer title. You will coordinate security communications, monitor activity, dispatch support, and maintain records while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers flexible scheduling as a Part Time Security Officer, with a pay rate of $27.15 per hour, opportunities to work across tech/media sites, and a path to growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch service calls, alarms, incidents, and requests to appropriate personnel using radios, telephones, and computer-based dispatch systems.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation, including call details, response status, visitor or contractor information, and other security-related activity.
• Monitor communications and available security-related systems, escalating critical situations according to site procedures and responding in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Coordinate with onsite personnel and emergency responders during incidents, providing timely information and supporting orderly response activities.
