Job summary

Avamere at Moses Lake is seeking a part-time Server to provide excellent dining service within a memory care, assisted living, and/or independent living setting. You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.

The role emphasizes food safety, personal hygiene, teamwork with kitchen staff, and accommodating dietary needs while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene while working.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly and courteously delivering food and beverages to residents, presenting them attractively.
• Providing attentive and friendly service, checking on residents' needs during meals.
• Setting up the dining room before meals and maintaining cleanliness.
• Clearing tables after meals and resetting them for the next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Knowledge of menu and dietary needs; answer questions accordingly.
• Interacting professionally with residents and guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures and sanitation practices.
• Collaborating with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Disposing of food and waste per policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
