Job summary

Avamere Moses Lake is seeking a part-time Server to provide excellent dining service in a memory care, assisted living and/or independent living facility. You will take orders, serve meals, set up and clear tables, and maintain cleanliness to ensure a positive residents' mealtime experience.

The role requires food safety knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, ability to learn kitchen equipment, and CPR/First Aid certification plus a Food Handler's card. Avamere offers health insurance and more.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
• Interpersonal skills to work with residents and staff.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must have a current Food Handler's card.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders.
• Delivering food and beverages promptly and attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and address residents' needs.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Be familiar with the menu and dietary needs.
