Avamere at Englewood Heights in Yakima, WA is seeking a part-time Server to provide exceptional dining service in a memory care/assisted living setting. You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment for residents and guests.

The role emphasizes safety, personal hygiene, and teamwork with kitchen staff while ensuring residents enjoy a positive meal experience in a compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintaining high personal hygiene standards while working.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Active Food Handler card from local Health Department.
• Awareness of dietary practices and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and attractively.
• Provide attentive and friendly service, address resident needs.
• Set up dining room and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Know menu items and dietary needs to answer questions.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policies.
