Avamere is seeking a Part-time Server to provide friendly, high-quality dining service in a memory care / assisted living setting in Washington, UT. The role emphasizes taking orders, serving meals, and maintaining a safe, welcoming dining room environment for residents and their guests.

Responsibilities include accurate order delivery, table setup, cleanliness, and collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety. (on-the-job training)
• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene including frequent hand washing and hair containment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to relate with residents, guests and staff.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• Active CPR/BLS certification and maintenance during employment.
• Current Food Handlers card issued by local health department.
• Knowledge of dietary practices, laws and hospital/nursing home operations.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders accurately.
• Promptly deliver food and beverages to residents with attractive presentation.
• Provide attentive, courteous service and address residents’ needs.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear and reset tables after meals for the next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Be familiar with menu and dietary needs and answer questions.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures and collaborate with kitchen staff.
