Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service sanitation and safety basics.
• Maintain high personal hygiene while working and tie hair back.
• Ability to learn kitchen equipment and operate dining service tools.
• CPR/First Aid certification during employment may be needed.
• Hold a valid Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Friendly, attentive and professional demeanor with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages to residents in a courteous manner.
• Provide attentive service and check on residents' needs during meals.
• Set up dining room, arrange tables, condiments, and maintain cleanliness.
• Clear and reset tables, and deliver room service orders when needed.
• Answer questions about the menu and dietary needs.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen for smooth service.
• Follow food safety procedures and proper sanitation practices.
