Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activity Assistant for Ivy Park at Seal Beach to support the planning and execution of engaging activities for seniors, fostering independence and quality of life. Role includes coordinating excursions, events, clubs, and social programs to enhance resident experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work Friday through Sunday with part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in providing a creative and rewarding social atmosphere with activities and events.
• Recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff with tact and friendliness.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment, following safety standards.
• Ability to drive Community vehicles and support transportation when required.
• Encourage teamwork across departments to enhance resident engagement.
