Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Ashburn, VA. The role focuses on protecting students, staff, visitors, and contractors while delivering excellent customer service and secure operations.

You will conduct frequent patrols, respond to incidents calmly, monitor access points, and prepare incident reports. This position offers a part-time schedule with day shifts and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service in security or related settings.
• Experience performing patrols and incident reporting.
• Ability to observe, assess and document security conditions.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet for reporting.
• Must meet minimum age requirements (18+ for unarmed roles).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and emergency guidelines.
• Perform regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds and perimeters.
• Respond calmly to incidents and disturbances per established procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to maintain orderly entry/exit.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and security activities and share with leaders.
