Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Ashburn, VA. You will patrol, monitor access points, and deliver customer service to clients and staff at a technology-focused site.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, shift-based duties, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents. Prior security experience and a high school diploma are desired, with CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery areas; document observations and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports in line with site procedures.
