Job summary

Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Wellness Response to monitor campus areas, deter incidents, and provide customer service to students, staff and visitors. You will perform routine patrols, report incidents, and collaborate with school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school and site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures during school operations and events.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
