Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other members of the school community while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate school personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, entrances, parking areas, athletic facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; assist with directing visitors and maintaining orderly entry and exit during school operations and events.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
