Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response) in Ashburn, VA. You will serve, safeguard clients, and deter security incidents by patrolling, monitoring access, and maintaining a visible presence.

Excellent customer service and professional communication are essential. The role offers a flexible schedule (Fri 07:00-03:00, Sat 15:00-23:00) with pay of $23.36 per hour, plus training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology infrastructure location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery activity; verify credentials and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to protocol.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of the facility and exterior grounds.
• Prepare accurate reports and complete shift documentation.
