Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced (Unarmed). This role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling income and flexibility. Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with potential to reach full-time schedules up to 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include site security duties, access control, incident response, and clear incident documentation. You will perform regular unarmed patrols and monitor entrances.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Background-eligible per laws for criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide site security duties, access control, and emergency response.
• Regular unarmed patrols of loading docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; log activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify responders per procedures.
• Observe and report conditions and complete incident documentation.
