Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable security coverage with flexible hours. This role features Fixed-Shift Anchor Shifts and a Claim‑A‑Shift program that lets you pick up additional shifts to boost earnings.

You will perform access control, conduct patrols, monitor premises, and respond to incidents with professional, calm problem‑solving. A six‑month site commitment is required, with opportunities to grow into fuller schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public using security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and follow procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government buildings, grounds and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or violations.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports as required by site.
