Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

You will carry out security procedures, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain patrol logs. The position requires armed certification, 3+ years of related experience, and a valid driver's license; pay is $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be completed as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, while coordinating with site management and law enforcement as needed.
