Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management in Houston, TX. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.97 per hour, with a part-time schedule (DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and a six‑month anchor shift commitment. Responsibilities include access control, customer service, and incident response, with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or passengers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry to restricted areas.
• Observe and report unauthorized access attempts or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas; conditions may vary by site.
