Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a security officer to observe and report activities at client sites, perform patrols, and help maintain safety and order on the premises. The role requires standing for long periods, with Saturdays from 7am to 3pm.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid NJ SORA License, and be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, and life insurance.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturdays 7am-3pm

Pay Range

USD $19.00 - USD $19.00 /Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
