Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. You will perform periodic patrols and stand for the majority of the shift.

The role requires a NJ SORA license, ability to stand for long periods, and strong English communication. Pay is up to $19.50 per hour, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License required.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday 1500-2300

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.50/Hr.
