Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking an on-site Security Officer to observe, report, and patrol client properties, ensuring safety and order. The role requires compliance with union requirements and a valid NJ SORA license, plus a clean driving record.

Fridays 8am-4pm, Saturdays and Sundays 6am-2pm, with duties including reporting, guarding access points, and documenting incidents. Must be able to stand for long periods and communicate in English.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview

*MUST JOIN A UNION*

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Fridays 8am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday 6am-2pm

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.75/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required Valid NJ SORA License
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
