Job summary

Allied Universal in Framingham, MA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Alarm Event Routing to help safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other environments. You will coordinate alarm events, dispatch security teams, and maintain documentation while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers a weekend-focused schedule (Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM) with a competitive pay rate of $23.31 per hour and opportunities to grow through training and a perks

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor communications, alarms, cameras, and incoming calls; dispatch personnel and provide timely information to support response to incidents and service requests.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, documenting dispatch activity, unusual occurrences, and communications in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter, reporting observed conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
