Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Framingham, MA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The position pays $23.31 per hour and includes opportunities to grow into a full-time schedule while maintaining flexibility for personal commitments. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and may need CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and dispatch policies at a retail location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, maintenance concerns, and other incidents to appropriate on‑site personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, access activity, and/or camera feeds as assigned, documenting relevant information in dispatch logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating communications with on‑site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
