Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Badge Validation Driver) at our Columbus, MS site. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and patrol facilities while delivering strong customer service.

This role emphasizes safety, integrity and teamwork. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required; driving duties may apply and shift schedule is provided by the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors per site procedures.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials and recording entries.
• Respond calmly to access-control incidents and alarms following procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking lots and perimeter.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and leadership, document incidents and observations.
