Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Authorization in Columbus, MS. This role provides flexible, reliable hours with a fixed shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay is $16.00 per hour with a part-time schedule designed to build income stability and potential progression toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours weekly. Strong customer service and access-control experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, log visitors, and direct authorized individuals.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials at designated points.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
