Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at our Columbus, MS site. This flexible role offers reliable hours with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour and the schedule runs daytime to evening.

You’ll work at a manufacturing/industrial location with access-control responsibilities. The position emphasizes customer service, badge access, and site safety.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site procedures.
• Verify identification and issue visitor/contractor credentials; maintain entry records.
• Monitor and control access at designated points and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
