As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, issuing access materials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting incidents, unusual activity, and access-control-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
