Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Belden, MS. This position offers flexible hours with a fixed shift and opportunities to earn more by picking up extra shifts.

The role emphasizes customer service at a logistics site, strict access control procedures, and safety responsibilities. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with day shift from 07:00 to 15:00.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor and driver entry procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and access‑related activity.
• Control access to shipping, receiving, trailer yard, package handling, and restricted operational areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, perimeter, parking areas, and operational areas; report unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
